Gotta Collect Em All - Lil Woody's Burger Month

Lil Woodys collaborates with local Seattle chefs to take on unique versions of “the burger” and we took on the challenge. In the month of February, each week was an opportunity to try a new chef burger to collect stamps for a chance to get the limited edition Lil Woodys tote lunch bag!

Week 1 Stuart Lane from Artusi Bar with the Italian Job

This burger consisted of meatballs with garlic aioli, arugula, provolone cheese topped with the special Artusi tomato sauce! It got messy at times but the ciabatta bun soaked it up rather nicely. It was a fantastic start to Burger month and left us wanting more!

Week 2 The Kamonegi Burger

Coming from one of the most popular Seattle Japanese chefs! The Kamonegi has to be the most unique of all the burgers and aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. Of all the burgers this was on meant for the “gram” with the black sesame charcoal burger buns, chicken and duck burger patty, duck egg, and yusuf kewpie mayo. The unique blend of flavors was worth trying.

Week 3 Sawyer Deli Burger

This burger was a crowd favorite, bringing everyone’s favorite sandwich components in one! It hits you with pastrami, Russian dressing, and cream cheese mornay all in an everything spiced burger. It was one of the most hearty burgers and oh so delicious! Sawyer in Ballard has grown a ton in popularity for its popular dishes including their in house choco-tacos and incredible food.

Week 4 Musang Burger

Last but not least our favorite of the 4 burgers and the most flavorful one the Musang Burger made with special pork adobo, chicaron and all the fixings brought to you be the new Filipino chef in town Chef Melissa. Musang is a Filipino popup shop that is opening a Brick and Mortar restaurant in Beacon Hill this year with the help of the community kickstarter. Please be sure to support!
