Seasonal salad from Tavolata

What’s your love language? For us, if it involves food, the appreciation and affection comes through clear. We’re sharing where we’d go on Valentine’s Day:

Tavolàta

Undoubtedly, one of our favorite Ethan Stowell restaurant fills the void when we crave fresh pasta. Live your Lady and the Tramp moment at Tavolata. Of the two locations, the Capitol Hill location offers more intimate dining options and the Edison light pendants cast the right kind of light for setting the mood.

Junebaby

A memorable dinner doesn’t always require a reservation. Since Valentine’s Day falls on a Friday this year, it coincides with Junebaby’s Prime Rib dinner. Whether you’re seated at the bar or a table, you’ll be taken care of. The attentive, knowledgeable, and personable Junebaby staff will make you forget you stood in line. Our suggestion: Grab drinks first. Then swing by Junebaby around 8:00.

Heartwood Provisions:

For those continuing 2020 with Dry February, Heartwood Provisions doesn’t mess around with their spirit-free beverages. This year, they curated a special five course dinner for two. Heartwood gave a sneak peak as to what’s in store. If you’re looking to impress your date, look no further.

Maximilien Restaurant

A list wouldn’t be complete without a restaurant that breathes l’amour. With the viaduct down, consider the Pike Place Market as a prime location for date night for ideal waterfront views. Before dinner, pick up a bouquet of fresh flowers. Build your your appetite a charcuterie in a cone from DeLaurenti. Finally, make your way to Maximilien Restaurant .
